What festival networks actually need

Festival grounds are the hardest environment in event networking: no building, no house infrastructure, weather, and tens of thousands of devices in open air. Here's what we build to make it work.

High-Density Temporary WiFi

Thousands of phones in one field behave nothing like an office. We do RF planning, channel and power tuning, and controller-managed access points so the network holds up when the crowd arrives all at once.

Large-Scale Outdoor Coverage

Point-to-point wireless backhaul, weatherproof enclosures, and distribution to remote stages, gates, media tents, and vendor rows across grounds with no existing infrastructure.

Vendor & POS Networks

Cashless payments only work if the payment network never competes with attendee traffic. Vendors get their own isolated VLAN with prioritized bandwidth for card readers and ticket scanners.

Secure Network Segmentation

Separate networks for production, credentialing, POS, staff, and public access, with firewall policies and content filtering so one compromised device can't reach the rest.

Equipment Rental & Deployment

Routers, switches, access points, cabling, and spares delivered, staged, and installed for your run dates — then removed clean at teardown.

On-Site Engineers

Certified network engineers stay on the grounds for the full festival, monitoring throughput and fixing issues between sets instead of after the show.

Gear is staged, cabled, weatherproofed, and load tested during build days — before the gates open.

Festival internet questions we get

How much bandwidth does a festival need?
It depends on ticket scanning, vendor payments, production, and streaming. A mid-size festival with cashless payments and a live stream needs a dedicated circuit sized well beyond what a handful of hotspots can carry. We size it from your gate counts, vendor list, and production plan before load-in.
Can you do event WiFi rental for a single weekend?
Yes. We rent and deploy the full temporary stack — access points, switches, routers, and uplinks — install it for your run dates, staff it with on-site engineers, and strike it afterward.
What about grounds with no existing infrastructure?
That's the normal case. We design point-to-point wireless backhaul and weatherproof outdoor access points to reach remote stages, gates, and vendor rows with no wired service on site.
